Strike one up for justice!

Those few of you who were wrongfully banned by using your WoW client on Linux should check your emails and jump with glee! Blizzard has unbanned anyone caught up in their latest streak of bot bans who was wrongfully banned by using "Cedega", a Linux program that allows win32 applications to run in a Linux environment.

World of Warcraft players using Cedega (the Linux-based Windows emulator) had their bans lifted after an investigation by Blizzard in cooperation with the Cedega development team revealed that the bans were in fact made in error.

You can read about it on this Linux type website thing! Want to vent on this subject? Participate in the ongoing discussion on our forums!

As a small note, if you are banned in WoW and you were 100% sure you were not cheating, just contact them. They will straighten it out... unless you were really cheating then well, sorry!
