World of Tanks isn’t showing any signs of slowing down its bid for world domination (or world war) as the player army for the title has now grown to more than 60 million strong worldwide. The news comes just ahead of next week’s E3 event where Wargaming will showcase World of Tanks on 10 high-end gaming stations along with other titles in their gaming lineup.

In addition to World of Tanks, Wargaming will be showcasing World of Warplanes and a new demo for their upcoming naval warfare title, World of Warships. Attendees will also be treated to the reveal of their new secretive console title at the event.

Global Free-To-Play Phenomenon to be Showcased at E3 2013

June 7, 2013 — Wargaming, the leading free-to-play MMO developer and publisher, today announced that their flagship free-to-play action MMO, World of Tanks, has tallied more than 60 million registered players around the world.

At this year’s E3, World of Tanks will be prominently featured at Wargaming’s spacious 10,000 square foot booth (601 South Hall). 10 high-end gaming stations will be running the game the entirety of the show, allowing attendees to get more familiar with the game or prove their battlefield supremacy.

In celebration of hitting the 60 million registered player milestone, Wargaming has also released a brand-new cinematic for World of Tanks, featuring the trademark action and tactical team gameplay that has made the title such a worldwide success.
