Free trials are an incredibly gutsy way to promote the content in an
MMOG. Even though you'll finally feel the way the game play, the
developers are still spending money to keep the game servers running
even while players are not paying for their game. However, some games
almost require developers to run a free trial period because that
particular title's gameplay is so different. This is the case with
Fury, and they've recently opted to open up a free 10-day trial for
those individuals that competed in the Fury Challenge. For those of you
who are hesitant, there's been a large amount of work done on the game
since beta, so don't be afraid to at least try out the new
optimizations.
