For this blog, Cody talks about the newest MMOG-based trading card game, Legends of Norrath. In his writing, Cody discusses what makes LoN fun compared to Magic: The Gathering Online and how he hopes LoN sets a new trend in online card games.
While LoN is a fairly solid TCG, it's real worth comes in the little things that it does so very well. For instance, whenever your avatar is "hit" by the other player, your character makes the unmistakably familiar sound that EQ and EQ2 players came to know as "I've just taken damage!" The "oofs" and "arghs" are so familiar that it instantly made my ears perk up. You'll also notice that many of the old weapons and armors that players once used or exploited have made their way into the game, from Ghoulbane to the Shiny Brass Shield.
