International competition-- not over oil for once!

K2 has selected their regional finalists for the War Rock International Clan Tournament. It looks like the US and Poland will be facing off in South Korea along with Japan and the Philippines.

K2 Network, Inc. (www.GamersFirst.net), an online game publisher, is pleased to announce the selection of the regional finalists in the War Rock International Clan Tournament, which was part of the Game & Game World Championship (GNGWC). One of six games that make up the GNGWC 2007 list of titles, War Rock players have been participating in the championships since July. Winners were declared on November 7th.

The regional champions, .AniMoSity. (from the United States) and Polish Hussars (from Poland), will soon be on their way to South Korea. The two five-member regional champion clans will be flown to Seoul in early December to compete against Japan and the Philippines in the GNG World Championship Final. The winning team will be honored by GNGWC as "the world's best gamers" and awarded $5,000. Second and third places winners will be awarded $3,000 and $1,000 respectively.
