The government of South Korea has decided to invest 350 billion won (about $235 million) into their games industry. Korea has been making and exporting video games for some time now, but they've decided they want to join the big boys and become a world leader in the market. It's not the first time S.Korea has decided it wanted to be on the top of an industry, and they've succeeded almost every time they've tried. Watch out US companies!

The South Korean government says they will invest 350 billion won in the computer game industry by 2012.

In a meeting Wednesday about plans to develop the game industry in the country, Culture, Sports and Tourism Minister Yu In-chon said they country's game industry hit a billion-dollar export goal this year.

The minister plans to kick start 60 projects in the country, including a $200 billion game fund, to help South Korea become one of the largest gave developers in the world.

Whatever comes of this, we know one thing for certain -
