Still betting on Lord of the Rings...
Okay, so while there really isn't anything meaty that's new, Turbine did hint at when that might change. Turbine CEO Jeff Steefel won't comment on what game they might be planning on bringing to the consoles, but it definitely seems like bringing one is the plan.
"Were really not talking about what our console product plans are, but we will be soon.
"I would guess by early next years well be able to be much more specific about what were doing with console, what kind of products were putting on console."
Steefel's statement was in response to a question about whether Turbine-developed PC MMO Lord of the Rings Online will make it to consoles. He declined to talk about LOTRO directly, however.
Okay people, mark your calendars. Early next year for the information that could possibly change the face of MMOs as we know them.
