Two phrases I never thought I'd say together: In-Line Skating and MMORPG

I'm sure most of you have been asking yourself "why don't we see more in-line skating MMOs?" I know I have. Well our question is about to be answered (in Europe at least). In what I believe is the first ever in-line skating MMO, Gpotato.EU will be publishing the latest endeavor from Nflavor Corp. called Street Gears. And it will launch...drum roll please...tomorrow. If you're wondering what one will do in a ISMMO, look no further than today's press release from gPotato:

"Street Gears offers an original concept in which the player embodies a “rider”, a skating fan who blows on the asphalt during races and challenges. This MMORPG offers a real evolution of the player’s avatar in a persistent universe, including an entertaining urban atmosphere, a great manga style but also many quests and mini-games. Since the closed beta test where 8000 players could surge on Park Town, lots of improvements have been made on the graphics and the team racing mode, allowing a better cooperation between players.:

For some reason "skaters" and "cooperation" don't seem to be words that should be used in the same sentence (similar to Barrens and chat) since the words bring minds of mutually exclusive groups. Maybe skaters can all work together to bring peace and harmony, or at least their virtual brothers can. To download the game and get started, go to the Skate Gears website.
