Destiny 2: How to Farm Enhancement Cores

Enhancement cores are the key to increasing your power in Destiny 2.   Enhancement cores are used to increase the power of both your armour and your weapons.   They are the key to taking those Level 1 items and boosting them all the way to Masterworked items.  

Each time you increase the level of an item it becomes more powerful and in turn, you become more powerful. 

As important as Enhancement Cores are, they are very challenging to acquire.  

The fastest ways to farm Enhancement Cores are the following:

Spider on The Tangled Shore

Spider not only offers bounties that reward Enhancement Cores, but you can buy them from him for Legendary Shards.   The first Enhancement Core per day will cost you 10 Legendary Shards.  The next will cost 20 Legendary Shards.  The cost will double every time you buy an Enhancement Core.... BUT, it resets each day.  

Banshee-44 at the Tower

Banshee-44, the Gunsmith at the Tower offers bounties that reward Enhancement Cores.  If you want to earn the Cores then this is the best way to do it. 

Dismantling Gear

Dismantling any Legendary piece of armour or any Legendary weapon will give you a chance to get an Enhancement Core in return.  You're going to have lots of gear to "Shard", so you are going to get a few Cores this way.  

Fastest to slowest methods:

1. Buy from Spider
2. Do bounties from Spider or Banshee-44
3. Dismantle Gear
