A quest a day keeps the
boredom away

 

After Patch 2.3, a greater number of daily quests have become
available, allowing players to occupy a few hours of their day doing
repeatable quests to earn gold, recipes, or reputation with several
factions. In this first update, we go over the new instance-based
quests and their objectives, as well as rewards!

There are 2 types of instance quests you may take up
daily - one for a
normal instance and one for a heroic instance. These assignments vary
from day to day, and will ask you to either kill certain monsters
within the instance, if normal, or the final boss, if heroic.
