It had to happen sooner or later. Those darn Defiance were just holding back the good stuff, but this week it’s time to break out the big guns. Starting today, RIFT players can take part in the new Mech Week event running through Tuesday, December 3rd, 2013. During the event, players can earn new weapons, pets, raid tokens, and new mech mounts.

Players can get started by earning a pilot’s license by completing the Mech Week daily quest to earn a Mechanized Temporal Vault, a time-locked treasure chest filled with futuristic loot. The vaults will unlock after 24 hours, providing players with a chance at various loot that includes exclusive new pets, new Temporal Essences with + Resist All, rare Empyreal Walker Mounts, and more. Additionally, players can also earn Temporal Aligners to reduce the lockout timer as well as earn additional rewards by completing Level 60 Expert dungeons.
