World of Tanks and World of Warplanes developer Wargaming.net has laid out plans to expand into Europe. In a recent press release, Wargaming.net announced that it has opened a new European office. Heading up the new branch is Frédéric Menou, former Managing Director of Blizzard Entertainment Europe.

The new branch will host more than 40 professionals that will recruit, manage and handle the full-scale PR, marketing, community and support with the main office being located in Paris, France.

London, UK, Paris, FR and San Francisco, CA (26th July, 2011) — Wargaming.net is proud to announce the opening of the European branch to manage the company's public and business relations in Europe, with Frédéric Menou as the Managing Director.

The company believes that his tremendous experience, first as Support Services Director and then as Managing Director Europe at Blizzard Entertainment, will help Frédéric Menou to bring Wargaming.net to the league of the best European online gaming publishers.

In its initial stages, the European branch of Wargaming.net will include more than 40 professionals to recruit and manage full-scale PR, Marketing, Community, and Support departments. The main office will be located in Paris, France, with a subsidiary in Berlin headed by Mario Baumann.
