Wargaming.net is headed to gamescom and they're bringing their new arsenal of warplanes with them. The developer will be showcasing its free-to-play armored warfare MMOG, World of Tanks at the event, but fans will also be treated to the first details and introduction of their newest project, World of Warplanes.

In addition to the presentation of armored and aerial warfare, Wargaming.net will also be announcing a new project that they have recently begun development on. Perhaps there is a planned FPS or naval warfare addition to their gaming lineup? It would certainly fit the theme. Speculation aside, what that new project is remains a mystery, so stay tuned and we'll update you when we learn more.


Wargaming.net Sets Their Sights on Gamescom 2011

All will be revealed in Cologne

London, UK, Paris, FR and San Francisco, CA (28th July, 2011) — Wargaming.net announces today their participation at Gamescom 2011, the largest European trade fair for interactive games and entertainment, taking place at the Köln Messe in Cologne, Germany, from August 17 to August 21.

Along with entertaining the Gamescom visitors with the highly acclaimed World of Tanks action MMO by holding an open tournament for all attendees, Wargaming.net will also be introducing their newest MMO project World of Warplanes recently announced during E3 2011. Media will be able to take a first look at World of Warplanes gameplay, as well as discover the main features of the game during personal presentations in the business area of Gamescom 2011.

The main highlight of the event will be the announcement of a new project Wargaming.net has recently started to develop.
