Anyone familiar with the Kingdom
Under Fire
series will be quick to
point out that previous games have traditionally been a blend of action
and real time strategy (not counting style="font-style: italic;">Circle of Doom
which dropped the RTS for a bit more RPG action).  For the
next installment though, Blue Side has teamed up with Phantagram to
co-develop what they're calling a MMOARTS – or a Massively
Multiplayer Online Action RTS.

Though Kingdom Under
Fire II
will still offer a single player mode similar to
previous titles, the main focus for the game will be online play, where
it's claimed “thousands of gamers can join in a server to pit
their skills against each other”

Some of the other listed features include:

- Massively Multiplayer Online game where
thousands of gamers can co-play and write their own epic poetry of war.

- Much empowered real-time strategy game system
with highly intense action and intuitive control while succeeding all
the great merits of previous versions.

- Unprecedentedly massive scale of castle siege
mode to deliver realistic medieval battle onto your nose.

You read that right folks – not only will KUF II be breaking
into MMOG territory, but after playing it your nose will never be the
same!

To learn more about the MMOARTS, set to release on both PC and the 360
sometime in 2009, be sure to check out the newly launched href="http://www.kufii.com/eng/">Kingdom Under
Fire II website.
